The David Tyler Trust was formed following the change of management at the Pictorial Charts Educational Trust, which developed and disseminated topical wall charts epitomizing a wide range of educational and social issues throughout the second half of the 20th century. Since the demise of PCET, its pathbreaking materials have been marketed through the Wildgoose Educational Resources company. Over recent decades, the Trust has developed a wonderful relationship with A Ray of Hope, UNESCO Youth Ambassador for the Culture of Peace, and supports innovative educational outreach in under-resourced schools and communities throughout the globe. Nepal - Science Lab initiative

Nepal from Binod - The Science Lab Support Project is designed to strengthen the quality of science education in remote and underserved schools across Nepal by ensuring access to essential laboratory resources. Many schools in these areas continue to rely solely on theoretical instruction due to the absence of proper laboratory equipment, limiting students’ ability to fully grasp scientific principles and experiment-based learning.

To effectively target support, the project will collaborate with local stakeholders, educational authorities, and community representatives to identify schools with the greatest need. Once selected, these schools will receive comprehensive laboratory sets aligned with the national curriculum, along with guidance on their use and maintenance. Where necessary, the project may also coordinate training for teachers to ensure they can confidently facilitate practical science activities.
